We are looking to change the old conversation in the non-profit sector and provide practical and pertinent information to non-profit organizations, social enterprises, media, philanthropists and the general public in order to help them grow in making a deeper and more meaningful impact on societal challenges using 21st Century thinking and best practice. Guided by the expertise of NYFC’s founder, Wayne Elsey, and others in the field, NYFC was developed to provide a forum for the exchange of ideas in a world that is constantly changing. The old ways of doing things are increasingly being found to be outdated. “Disruption” has become part of business as virtually every sector is being touched by socio-economic and technological forces and innovation, which are changing how we all work and do business, including those in the non-profit sector.
